Tasmazia and The Village of Lower Crackpot was a lot of fun for the whole family.
Right on the waterfront, this caravan park is quirky, funny and an amazing base for some really fun watersports on and around Lake Albert.
Rottnest Island is a long standing Perth getaway. With Fremantle as it's main port, we took some time to explore both Rottnest and Fremantle.
The Platypus is related to the Echidna plus one other South American vairant. Get up close and personal!
A busy spot over weekends, but we see why. It is an incredible spot with so much to do in and around the Rapid Bay beach and surrounding Fleurieu Peninsula.
Finally a pink lake with water in it! We checked out Geraldton, which has a great maritime history and waterfront and then Lucky Bay for some 4WD and fishing fun.
Seahorse World at Beauty Point in Tasmania provides tours and insight into the world of the Sea Horse.
The Murraylands are a huge part of South East, South Australia. Home to the mighty Murray River, it's mouth out to the sea and the enormous lower lakes.
Wow what an unspoilt wilderness. We headed deep into the Francois Peron National Park and were rewarded with so much marine and bird life.
Halls Gap, Victoria
Halls Gap Lakeside is heaven for kids, but parents as well. Set in the amazing Grampians, theanimals are everywhere, as is the fun.

Woodhouse Activity Centre is a Scouts Australia facility, but it's open to the public for day visits, school holiday programs and even camping. We were treated to the campgrounds all by ourselves, and we took full advantage of checking everything out.

The Fleurieu Peninsula was our first taste of South Australia's many peninsulas. If you look at the map, there are so many facing the coast of South Australia. We checked out Rapid Bay and Victor Harbor as we traveled around on the scenic drive.
Wow what a time we had in Adelaide. The city really turned it on for us, where we timed our visit with a massive Australia Day weekend. Fireworks, concert, museums and great food all made up for a fantastic family visit to Adelaide.
The Coral Coast is a marine park wonderland. So much to see and do, fishing, swimming and snorkeling.
NRMA Port Arthur is a great place to stay with a family.
Yorkes. It's thrown around by locals and we were never brave enough to use it, until now. Wow what a location. Stunnings beaches, great fishing and heaps of things to see and do for a family.
Karijini is seriously a jewel in the crown of Western Australia. Amazing gorges, great swimming holes at the end of adventurous hikes.
The Phillip Island Penguin Parade is a must do in Victoria for a family.
We took advantage of some cooler summer weather to head up into the Flinders Ranges. We stayed at Rawnsley Park Station and explored Wilpena Pound and the surrounding Flinders Ranges.
Swimming with whale sharks is a big ticket item, but wow was it worth it. Amazing times at Cape Range and Exmouth.
The Victorian State Coal Mine in Wonthaggi is a great family day out.
We had heard so much about the Eyre Peninsula, we couldn't wait to check it out for ourselves. The results? Well let's just say its reputation precedes it for a reason!
The Healesville Sanctuary is one of Victoria's big 3 zoos and is well worth a visit. You can spend a full day here very comfortably.
The Nullarbor: The road, the myth, the legend! We had heard so much, received many a caution. Will we make it? Well, we did. And it was spectacular.

The Grampians, Victoria
The Grampians have so much to offer for nature lovers. Hike mountains, drive to lookouts, paddle in waterways and watch fauna amoungst beautiful flora.
The Golden Outback stretches from Kalgoorlie-boulder all the way down to Esperance. We spent time getting to know the gold rush and mining history of these twin towns.
This is a must do when in Tasmania!
Mount Gambier, South Australia
The Limestone Coast is a geological wonderland from Mount Gambier to Robe and beyond. Discover Caves, Sinkholes, Volcanoes and more.
The Golden Outback stretches from Kalgoorlie-boulder all the way down to Esperance. We spent some great time down at Cape Le Grand National Park, at the famous Lucky Bay Campground.
We spent an afternoon at the Port Arthur Historical Site and the kids were engaged and spellbound by the overall size of the site as well as it's history.
Victor Harbor Holiday and Cabin park is a fantastic base to explore Victor Harbor for families. We were so well taken care of, nothing was too much trouble and the kids had a ball!
We went looking for adventure in the Great Southern Wilderness and definitely found it. Albany, Denmark and Walpole offers an amazingly diverse range of options and adventure.
